Window Cleaning Update

using  ladders ,    i   did  window  cleaning  for   many   years ,  and   having  done  a  risk  assessment  the  job

is   high  risk  nothing  to  do  with  age   the  job  has  many  pitfalls ,   uneven   and   slippery  surfaces ,  climbing

roofs  that  has  no   rail guards,  gravel  or  stones   instead  of  pavement ,  hard  to  reach windows ,  even  with

a  pole   its  very  difficult,   and   however many  health    and  safety   courses  you  do   the   job  is  still  dangerous

trying  to  get  though  to  the  back  going  though  the  house  is  trying  to  dodge furniture etc

an  another  accident waiting  to  happen  ,  the  owner  of   properties  do  very  little  to   make  the  job   safe,

and  bushes  or  ivy    that  are close  to  windows  don’t  help ,    no  window  cleaner   with  ladders  should  work   on

his   own  ,  you   are  taking   high  risk  regardless  of   quality   of  ladders  of  any   equipment  ,  its   not  worth   it

the  two   most   dangerous  jobs   in   the  open   is   dog   walking if   more  than  two   dogs

the  second   is  one   man  window  cleaning  with   ladders ,  if   the  owners   of   properties  made  safe  all  round

then   only   then  would   the   job  be  safer   not  as  i   already   listed ,  so   in  conclusion    the  customer   only   make    risk   much   higher  than   need   to   be ,  that   only   the  customer  can  change   

so  be  aware  of  this  post  tell   others   tell   me   what   you   think   

this   is  my red   warning   after   years   of   experience  .
